COVID Precautions at Strathearn Arts

Safety of staff, volunteers and visitors is our number one priority. We have therefore undertaken a thorough risk assessment which has considered the risks for members of the public: Attending our Events and Hiring our Venue.

Hiring our Venue

We have a range of regular and ad hoc venue hire bookings throughout the year. We are keen to support local groups and organisations that are needing a place to meet, rehearse, teach etc and have a range of venue hire options available.

All those hiring our venue are responsible for adherence to the latest guidance and rules from government and governing bodies etc. However, we want to make sure that everyone hiring our spaces can be confident that the building itself is as safe as possible.

Following a comprehensive COVD 19 Risk Assessment, we have taken the following measures:

  • The building is professionally cleaned every morning including all door handles, tables, toilets, sinks and hard surfaces

  • Hand sanitiser is available at entrances/exits

  • Risk assessments are required from all those hiring our venue. These should encompass the risks associated with the use of the facility and the specific activities being undertaken as well as the additional risks posed by COVID 19
