Our new generation of Crieff Folk Club meets once a month at Strathearn Arts on a Thursday night to hear some great and varied folk music plus the occasional session night for anyone to join in with (or just listen and enjoy).

Edinburgh fiddle player, singer and composer music graduate from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Oxford University. Debut album The Castalia is inspired by 4 months in Cape Breton ‘quite the best debut album that has come this way in a long time’ (Living Tradition).

Trailblazing a path as a cello soloist, Juliette Lemoine is exploring and redefining the cello’s role within Scottish Traditional Music with her debut album ‘Soaring’. Emotive compositions weave through Scottish Traditional, Western Classical, and Jazz genres to create a highly personal new voice. Leading an all-star band of some of Scotland’s most exciting young musicians in a unique line-up of cello, fiddle, piano, and tenor saxophone.

Opportunity for local musicians to get together, share tunes, stories, poems and general craic! Musicians from further afield also welcome and those who like to come along and listen. We have our regulars but it's also nice to see visitors passing through Crieff who like to come along for an experience of the local area. All abilities and musical styles welcome. Bring your instrument, yourself and your story and come on down!
