Crieff Folk Club
Join us at Crieff Folk Club, where we gather at Strathearn Arts on Thursday evenings to enjoy a diverse selection of Folk, Celtic, Scots and Irish traditional, Americana, Country, Bluegrass and World Music.
In addition, the club features roots singer-songwriters and artists combining traditional material with jazz, blues and classical influences.

We host impressive concerts for visiting top musicians, song workshops led by local Gaelic singer, Naomi Harvey and gather for session nights where anyone is welcome to join in.
Crieff Folk Club is not just about the music, it's a place of community and connection. People come together from all walks of life to share stories, experiences, and a love for folk traditions. The music is just one aspect of the experience, as the real magic lies in the sense of belonging and shared connection that comes from gathering with like-minded individuals.
History
Crieff Folk Club was founded in the '60s by a group of local enthusiasts who wanted to promote and celebrate traditional and roots music. In 2017, Scottish Singer-Songwriter Neil Thomson was tasked with relaunching Crieff Folk Club for a new generation at Strathearn Arts. Over the years, the club has hosted a variety of performers, including well-known names such as Billy Connolly, The Corries, Gerry Rafferty and more recently Tim Edey, Archie Fisher and Margaret Bennett.
Today, the club continues to be a hub for folk music in Crieff, with weekly sessions and regular concerts featuring both local and international talent.
